After earning her DVM from Cornell, Lakeside Veterinary Clinic founder Dr. Cecilia Scranton provided veterinary care for large and small animals at practices in the New York towns of Adams and Remsen. In 1992, she launched the private solo practice, Lakeside Veterinary Clinic, in the Adirondack Mountains region village of Tupper Lake, New York.
Beyond offering routine preventative care, Lakeside Veterinary Clinic diagnoses and treats various conditions ailing household pets. It features in-house ultrasound equipment, laboratory testing capabilities, and state-of-the-art noninvasive treatment options such as laser therapy. If surgery is necessary, the practice can perform a wide range of procedures on-site.
Lakeside Veterinary Clinic also offers microchipping services and dental care, including root planing, ultrasonic cleaning, and fluoride treatment. The practice doubles as a comfortable pet boarding facility that administers all necessary medication and gives dogs at least three walks by hand per day.
Dr. Scranton is an American Animal Hospital Association member and a diplomate of the USDA National Veterinary Accreditation Program.
